What do we do?

The main pur­pose of this blog is pre­sent­ing the diver­si­ty of IT sec­tor. We believe that it offers wide vari­ety of posi­tions and great devel­op­ment oppor­tu­ni­ties, all of which make IT one of the best indus­tries to work in. We want to intro­duce you to spec­trum of jobs and help, should you decide to change your career path.

How do we do this?

Based on our expe­ri­ence we built prac­ti­cal Java course, which is best suit­ed for any­one with­out IT back­ground. We focus on prac­tice — sim­i­lar to every­day devel­op­er tasks, and as a result we’re cre­at­ing ful­ly func­tion­al Spring-based web appli­ca­tion and deploy it on cloud infra­struc­ture. As a fol­low up we’re adding extra mate­ri­als, focus­ing on top­ics required or use­ful for job inter­views for Junior Java Devel­op­ers, which makes our blog a com­plete course for IT newbies.

Yes, as of now all those mate­ri­als are avail­able only in Pol­ish, as it makes it eas­i­er for begin­ners to start in ‘their’ native lan­guage, but we are cur­rent­ly work­ing on Eng­lish ver­sion of our blog — stay tuned!

Why?

In 2014 Ania decid­ed to change her career path, to leave mar­ket­ing and coach­ing and start her adven­ture with Java. Kuba sup­port­ed her deci­sion by cre­at­ing lessons to intro­duce her to prac­ti­cal pro­gram­ming (as it is done in real projects), step by step, which ulti­mate­ly became … our course.  Now, we are both ful­ly pas­sion­ate Java devel­op­ers, who still want to share their expe­ri­ence and knowl­edge, improv­ing our own skills at the same time. You can find short notes about our­selves below.

In 2014 she decid­ed to change her career and try with pro­gram­ming. Today, she has 1,5 years of pro­fes­sion­al expe­ri­ence and she wants more ;) Pro­gram­ming become her pas­sion!
